Mission Statement

We will run our farm and business efficiently, safely and profitably and to high standards of environmental and social responsibility

We are a private family farming business that was first established in 1922. Today the company farms approximately 1200 ha of cereals and keeps some 2,500 breeding sheep on 570 ha of grass, much of which is unimproved grassland of environmental importance in the Swale Estuary Site of Special Scientific Interest.

The Company has some 200 ha of apples, pears, cherries and plums. The apples and pears are stored in atmospherically controlled cold stores and are packed and marketed by ABB Marketing Ltd producer organisation. We supply major supermarkets locally and nationally, as well as local farm shops and stalls. It is importnat to us that we continue to support the local community in Kent.

We are proud to be members of LEAF (Linking Environment and Farming) and all our produce carries the Red Tractor logo. LEAF is the leading organisation in promoting food and farming is sustainable whilst the Red Tractor logo guarantees you are buying good quality food which can be traced back to the farm it was grown or reared on. Our produce meets all Red Tractor standards and inspections, they insist on food safety, animal health and welfare, protecting the environment and traceability.
